Is anybody using a Telstra 3G USB stick (ZTE MF633) Aussies?

http://www.zte.com.au/telstra/Product_Downloads/MF633_downloads.htm

I have it plugged in to a 433UAH and it is detected as per:

[admin@SkunkMikrotik] /system resource usb> print detail
 0 device="2:1" name="RB400 EHCI" serial-number="rb400_usb" vendor-id="0x1d6b" device-id="0x0002" speed="480 Mbps" ports=2 usb-version="2.00"
 1 device="2:2" vendor="ZTE,Incorporated" name="ZTE Configuration" serial-number="1234567890ABCDEF" vendor-id="0x19d2" device-id="0x0031" speed="480 Mbps" ports=0 usb-version="2.00"
 2 device="1:1" name="RB400 OHCI" serial-number="rb400_usb" vendor-id="0x1d6b" device-id="0x0001" speed="12 Mbps" ports=2 usb-version="1.10"

PIN on the device is disabled.

I can’t get it connected though no matter what setting I try in the ppp interface. I do see it as available as port usb2 in the ppp interface when creating it.

Anyone know what data/information channel I should be using?
This device is not on the confirmed hardware list, should I perhaps be sending in a supout?
I’m using no modem init string, *99# as the phone number and telstra.datapack as the APN

There is a tutotial here: http://www.m2mconnectivity.com.au/sites/default/files/brochures/RB411U_User_Guide_V3.pdf
It is for the 411U board and a different Telstra BigPond modem, but the basics should be the same.
