I had to cover about 100m radius in a obstacle-free park.
Is Cap XL ac suitable for this once installed inside a plastic weatherproof box ?
Should I install it horizontally (like ceiling-mount ) or even vertically ? (what’s the machine pattern ? )

You specfically need the cAP because of 802.11ax ?
If the unit is inside a box, it should work fine, just a little bit worse signal due to box. Mounting can be any direction, radiation pattern is roughly spherical.
