Seems hard to find stock available for CRS318-1Fi-15Fr-2S-OUT…
Is it possible that this model to go EOL soon considering that is nowere to be found on distributor stock?

This does’t prove it’s not EoL. Also both retailers from Poland (not my area).
At least one distributor from Romania claims it’s possible to enter EoL.
Normis a cry for help here… I have a project with 80pcs standing-by (frankly to be halted if this proves to be true)

Anyhow, product page doesn't indicate it's EOL.
And yet I buy everything from Italy there, where I pay less...
The products are the same anyway.
Why buy them here when I can legally buy them there and save a lot of money?

If you wait until only one distributor has all 80 of these special items, then you'll never get anything done...
It's already a lot if they have 2 or 3 in stock,
and not because they're what you mean for "EOL",
but because having them there and not selling them is an unnecessary expense...
80 pcs. is worth of placing a special order to local distributor or even signing a special contract making the project safe.
That is why distributors are for, to distribute high volumes of goods. Dealers/sellers are for retail.
