Thanks, I don't need an apology. I found it funny, but I only raised it as a datapoint for the proposition that it is possible to be quite wrong about whether something is AI.
I am not blaming moderation, I am trying to make the case that not everything needs moderation.
Not saying 'Thank you' is somewhat lacking in manners, but it is something we should get over. Just to be political for a moment, JD Vance confronting Zelenskyy in the Oval Office was demonstration that making a fuss about someone not saying 'thank you' can be more worse than the perceived omission of the thanks.
The problem your style presents is that you say things with your moderator hat on about stuff which I think is way below the threshold for moderator involvement. I don't have a problem with your overall reaction to OP if it is on the same basis as any other poster, ie with your moderator hat off. But once you hint at closing a thread, it becomes plain that you have your moderator hat on for stuff which does not need moderation.
