I’m looking for an Edge router that can handle full routing table. I have been told the CCR line will not give us the performance we need. We are connecting to our upstream providers with two 10Gbps SFP fiber modules.
So, I’m asking if anyone here has used the Maxxwave Routermaxx Vengeance or any other x86 platform that works well?
Have you done anything with this project? I’m looking at the Vengenace 2 and looks pretty good.

Yes, it is a great platform.
We have used it to test the CHR for each of these presentations.

Thanks, I’ll give it a run in the months to come!
@IPANetEngineer a question, if I may…
Is CHR seeing the SFP interfaces as optical or just as copper eth?
I want to know if there is any way of telling the optical power and/or the info about the optical interfacse in the sfp ports
