Is it able to manage old(802.11ac) device's wifi using CAPSMAN of wifiwave2?

Hello.
I have 5 devices on my home and only one device support wifiwave2 package.

The other is managed(with roaming support) by CAPSMAN(not v2).
So, I have to use 2 ssid. One is for wifiwave2 and the other is for 802.11ac(Managed by CAPSMAN).

My question is, is it able to allow join CAPSMAN wifiwave2 from CAP of old devices which is not support 802.11ax?
I want to use single SSID with roaming support.

Is there any sample code for this case, Please share me example code. I will read carefully and using it for my env.

Thank you for reading. Best regards.

You can set the same SSID but you can not have legacy and AX devices being handled by the same capsman controller (legacy or wifiwave2).
In case of AX to legacy transfer, client will disconnect (access list can help to encourage the process once a certain signal level is obtained) and will then connect again to the new AP.
Other way around, same story.
Disconnects will be a bit longer but unless you’re moving around while streaming music or video, you may not even notice.

If you choose to do this, make sure to use the exact same settings for security and SSID.
