Is it interference

Hi,

I’ve a an AP with 3 cpes connected (all MT, ROS5.9, NV2).
The link runs great until suddenly the RX-Signal at the AP
reduces by 10db for all 3 cpes. Weaker cpes disconnect
better stay an show packet loss. This lasts for 2-20 seconds
then signal goes back to normal and the link runs at full
speed.

I’ve done everything to find the source of interference but
I cant manage to find it. I tested every frequency in 5.6 GHz.
Nothing helps. Scanning the band does not show a source
of interference.

I tested doing bandwidth tests on my nearby links to fill them
up. None of them is the source of this problems.

I’m no longer sure this is interference but a malfunction of the
card. As it’s difficult to reach the AP I do all other things before
changing the card.

Anyone seen such a behavior?

You may have to check the lead and connection into the AP, I have encountered several AP’s with poor or intermittent POE connections on AP’s but not total disconnection so board will remain on always but power level from radio card would vary?
