Im using my 2.8 MT for very criticall aplication. Since im having minor problems with pppoe users i am thinking to upgrade to 2.9 rc, but i dont want to risk if its still not so stable.
So, is it safe to upgrade to 2.9 yet???

If its very critical then I would hold off… it’s pretty stable but has a few quirks here and there.

In particular, there are still problems with PPPoE users… I was just made aware that they have found the problem that myself and others are having with PPPoE, and they have corrected it in the next release. Ponline, what is the specific problem that you are having?

man i was using MT 2.8.26 i tried the upgrade, upgraded the router, but lost license :S

Although I did’t proof that myself yet, I had some calls form costumers saying that their connection to internet sudenly stops, and then they have to disconect pppoe client, and reconnect it again. They are wireless clients. The problem could be anywhere.
I just wanted to take the first step by upgrading the MT becouse i heard that 2.8 has pppoe issues, but now im not sure. My MT is lightly loaded with pppoe clients, some 30 and might be 15-20 online at the same time.
