When Mt will support scsi?
Why do we need SCSI support? This is a router, not a server.
Tom
RouterOS doesn’t even write to disk, except when you save config.
squid, logging, backup, export, supout, future versions of metarouter all write to HD. I’m curious though why scsi is so important if sata<->SSD is so fast?
Considering the RouterOS is a router not a server comment, making the same comment, and keeping in mind where RouterOS is going in terms of virtualization… I’m sure there are ALLOT more writes coming.
It’s actually a good question that… Is ROS a server, or a router?
SCSI is hard to support. There are lots and lots of drivers involved. It’s too complicated.
and what about SAS?
it’s the same to me, at least from the implementation-difficulty standpoint
