I always and each time i open the log in my winbox i found this line :
firewall info input:in-internet out:(none),src-mac [modem mac],proto TCP (SYN), [some mac] → [modem mac],len 44
[modem mac] is my internet through sattelite modem
[some mac] different mac each time , or it may be repeated
this log line apears coz i put a line in the firewall to drop any input connection [ i got it somewhere here]
what does this mean ?? the lines dont stop and it apears each seconds.
sorry , i made a mistake the correct line is :
firewall info input:in-internet out:(none),src-mac [modem mac],proto TCP (SYN), [some IP] → [modem IP],len 44
Someone is (or several someones are) trying to establish a TCP connection to your router.
Not really all that unusual.

well to make it more obvious , my system is :
internet signal from satellite =>dish=>modem=>MT=>clients
those someones what side they were trying to get in from ??
Well, since the interface in the log you posted is named in-internet, my guess is that they would be coming in from the internet.
Could be wrong though; if you have an IP-enabled toaster, and named the toaster facing interface in-internet, then it would be coming from the toaster.
