Is Mikrotik RB good enough for Hotspot Access Points?

Hi

I am planing to set up small around 10-15 access points to provide hotspot internet.
My question is:

  1. Does MT hardware can assabled and configure for this kind of configuration?
  2. What hardware would you recommand me i mean what RB, what miniPCI, card antennas etc.
  3. Did any of you tried this before? what did you use for hardware?
  4. I want this Access Point have minimum 3 antennas, send/receive 1 each and 3rd for hotspot clients.

1-yes,of course!
2-it depends on your environment and the mony you want to pay,you can use RB751 which is a good complete router with a built in wireless card,but if you want to connect 3 antennas you can use rb433(different models),rb435(different models) and 493(different models),you can have 3 wireless cards on all of them.R52Hn is a good wireless card that i used,and you need a pigtail and a box
3-yes,I used hotspot in a wireless mesh network and rb751 and it is so good.
4-hotspot does not need a separate wireless card and you can run hotsopt on the sender(AP) card.
you can have only one wireless card if you use wireless mesh.

Goal:

  1. I want to run/have MIMO or at least 802.11 N in 5.8 Ghz as a back bone connection between my hotspots Access points.
  2. I want to have seperate antanna for clients.

Questions:

  1. What miniPCI would you suggest.

  2. What miniPCI did you used or test on 433 / AH RBoards and what covering range can my client get from the MiniPCI , and what range will my APs on the backbone connection between each other 300 ft, 1/2 Km ?? ???

  3. Is 25Dbi for back bone miniPCI in 5.8 802.11 N, with 6 Dbi Antenna is sufficient miniPCI power? what the distance to cover am i looking at?
