Hi,
Mikoritk routers are one of the best in the market. But talking about switching and 10 gig ethernet, is mikrotik capable enough to handle 10 gig ethernet traffic for an ISP backbone.
For example consider the following scenario:
ISP X has uplink of 10gig from ISP A and ISP B and is terminated in a CCR1036-8G-2S+EM’s SFP+ ports. Now how can one distribute the link to distribution switches followed by access switches.
Mikrotik donot have any SPF+ switch which can handle such link.
As per the diagram I have attached here, is there any way out to distribute 10 gig on fiber from Mikrotik Switch located at Central Office to Point of presence (POP) which will have another Switch but all 10 gig?
Can I implement CWDM here in this case?
Regards,
Srijit
