I was notified by an e-mail message of the store merchant from whom I purchased my MikroTik router that there is free offer saying that when anyone purchases any MikroTike router from the offer, then he will be given a Mikrotik router program for free to manage and control over the clients for the MikroTik routers.
It is said in that announcement with that program an owner can use the HotSpot system instead of using the user manager which considers safer from the user manager in saving the subscribers 's data from the Inadvertent losing. Also, it exceeds a number of subscribers up to 500 at the same time for the license five, in contrast to, the user manager, which reaches to 50 subscribers.
With that program, you can create a thousand cards by pressing a button, and printing them at the same time or saving them in a document file which can be printed at anytime.
The creation of cards in the form of numbers only or numbers and characters. And also you can run the network by one code entry, as you can convert your old system from ‘a user name and password’ to one code entry only.
I don’t know if that is only a locally designed program, or it is designed by the Mikro tik company.
When I purchased my Mikro Tik router, whose RouterOS is license 5, I wasn’t given any such a program.
It’s definitely a 3rd party program. The only “official” management tools that MikroTik provides are Winbox, Dude, and everything that’s “inside” RouterOS itself (e.g. WebFig, User Manager).
That program was probably created by the very merchant you got your router from, as a way to attract you to get it from them, instead of a competitor.
I’d be curious to actually try out that program, but by I’m guessing they’re (intentionally) not making it publically available anywhere.
I really even don’t know the name of that program, but I have only translated the Arabic announcement text for that offer containing that program as a gift. That announcement sent to me via an email message since I became a customer of that store merchant.
I’ve not been given that program since I didn’t purchase my router from that offer. But, I am curious as well to know what good features that program can have.
