Is there a way to know what coused router crash ?

Hi guys, I’m using RB751u-2hnd, sometimes at customers locations when I connect this and try to connect the network to it, it crashes, and nothing works. I have checked and so far I cannot find any loops or anything, is there a way to see what crashed the router ? some kind usb or serial cable ? so that I can connect my pc to it and see when it crashed, what caused it ?
Normally this router works fine, but not everywhere. in this case there is one customer where the router crashes, also other modems crashing, on he’s network only 1 sitcom cheap router can hold it up, all others crash too.

any possibilities ?

From what you are describing it looks like a power related issue.
You can check the log after the router is rebooted. For more detailed info, you can setup a syslog to gather
all logs data form any router on your network. I do it with dude right now, but you can setup any one you like.

The router stays on, lights are on too so
Its not power issiu…

Than, it is not a crash. I thought it just powers down. So it becomes inaccessible.
Again, setting up a syslog could help see what the log says when the issue happens.
It could be a high CPU for long time, an IP conflict, a network loop, etc.

When you say “crashed”, what do you mean exactly? What happens? If internet is not working, it doesn’t mean something crashed. Connect, make a supout.rif file and send to support. We will check what really happened.

When I say crashed I mean that the router is not accessible anymore, forget the INTERNET, I’m unable to even login to the router, so I have to restart the router by power off, then it works only if I take out all cables and connect to it by wifi or a single lan cable from my laptop. or other sinble pc. as soon as I connect the network switch to it, it’s gone.
this network works fine with another sitecom router.

Does the router becomes responsible when you disconnect network switch?
Post your ‘bridge’ and ‘interface’ configuration (export).
Regards,

No, after I disconnect the network, it stays that way, to be able to use it I have to power it off, then and only then it works again. the config is default config, imagine the config after hard reset, the only thing I change is disable wifi, and enable dhcp. nothing alse.

I also checked the logs, the only thing I can see in the log that the 2 ports are connected by 100full, after that there is nothing  it’s like a silent killer ))
