Building a new headquarters facility with datacenter. Two fiber carriers, each providing a couple-hundred meg DIA connections, I have my own ASN and my own /24 and /44. I want redundancy to the max and full IPv4/IPv6 dual-stacking. So based on all these requirements… I need VRRP and at least 8GB of RAM. I’d need full tables from both carriers to make the best possible BGP decisions outbound. I’m leaning towards the CCR1036-8G-2S+EM… although I’m sad it doesn’t have dual power supplies. VRRP should handle a hardware failure and I could just have a spare on hand since the price is low.
Does MikroTik fully support dual stack routing on VRRP?
