Hi guys
I just noticed that some PC on our network is infected with a particular virus I am yet to identify. the virus makes the systems to send https requests on port 443 repeatedly to a particular IP or to many IP address. I also noticed that it is a type of DoS attack because of the way its flooding the network.
The side effect is that it made my router CPU load increase to about 100% thereby crawling the network.
I need an approach with which I can Isolate the infected users and display a hotspot page for them notifying them of the virus infection
I am thinking of adding them to an address list and redirecting the users in the address list to a custom webpage.
Pls, any idea on how to acheive this?
