I have problem when ISP relase me ip address x.x.x.0 or x.x.x.255 ,problem is that ,I can go to internet ,but outside clients cant go to my local network .example my RDP server.
I need a script that will reconnect my pppoe interface every time when I got BAD IP.

First prize would be to log this error with your ISP, as they shouldn’t assign broadcast IP’s to your connection.
If this doesn’t help, I’m sure I could assist you in writing such a script.
Let us know if you managed to sort the problem.
What is the netmask that goes with those IP’s? Are you assuming it’s /24 or is the ISP telling you it’s a /24?
