Hi All,
Currently,i have problem with Cisco Router Rate-limit. Basically, the router will drop the packet if the provided bandwidth exceeds. some of my customers who subscribe from 1MB to 4MB, have specified application which does not support if got Request Time Out.
I want to change bandwidth management to Mikrotik RouterOS to deal with this kind of problem. Is it possible? What are the configuration?

Here you can look for QoS options, that can be possible with MikroTik RouterOS,

In cisco it is not useful to use rate-limit it will have lot of dropped packets, even in cisco you can shape the traffic instead of rate limit, but the RouterOS can be used as a wonderful traffic shapper.
can you advise more like sample diagram, configuration tip and trick?
