I’m trying to make txt logging regarding internet connection drop, for ISP QoS purpose. I’m using netwatch and system logging, but I’m bad at scripting here, could someone help me with this routine, please?
ATM, I have:
netwatch rule(?), set to monitor my ISP (I guess, host and router’s gateway is the same here, right?), dunno how to specify up&down tabs.
and logging action name=ISPdrop, type=disk, and logging rule=info, action=ISPdrop. And here I’m stucked.
The plan is to log every ISP drop to USB stick in .txt file, preferably with date and time when the drop occured and when ISP re-established it’s services.
