Hello, I’m installing a Mikrotik Router for an ISP. I need appropriate firewall rules. Can I use the firewall examples listed on the wiki ? or they are outdated?

What are you trying to accomplish with your firewall? Are you trying to protect the customers and the router or just the router itself?

How you secure your router is entirely up to you. Mikrotik only provides means for doing that and they are more than enough. Wiki is quite clear and definitely not outdated. Firewalling is basic networking and not very MT related
