I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking, but when you connect an Ethernet cable between a RouterOS device and a computer running Winbox you can click on the “…” in the Winbox loader and wait for a few seconds to have it detect connected routers on layer 2. You can then click on the discovered MAC address and connect.
