Please guys help me. im searching it for a weeks now. reading some e-book. watching tutorials in the internet and youtube and still i cant find the answer. i just want to access my Local ip address (server ip address) Via WAN but the problem is i dont have a static IP and my ISP is connect to DSL modem. I also put my modem in bridge mode (ISP TO DSL MODEM TO PC) but unfortunately i cant receive any IP address.
Probably your ISP uses PPPoE to establish connections across the DSL.
NOTE: The Default Mikrotik firewall configuration is vulnerable to DNS amplification DDoS exploitation if you manually add a PPPoE connection and forget to go modify your firewall filter rules in the Input chain. (go there and change all rules with “in-interface=ether1-gateway” to use “in-interface=pppoe1-out” instead. (your interface names may vary, but you get the idea)
If i understand you correctly you want to access your pc from internet but your ISP changing constantly IP addresses? If that is the case use some DYNDNS service and access your pc through it.
