I have observed lots of packet drops while ping remotely When the bandwidth was controlled based on the Ip address or subnet through simple queue. Is there any known issue with simple queue.
Board model & version: RB711-5Hn & V5.25
ICMP packet (Ping) also required some bandwidth, I think when you apply queue, bandwidth consumption is total queue size that’s why ping packet drop.
give ICMP higher priority or give extra bandwidth to ICMP packet.
