Issue with down grading from 6.2 to 5.25 on rb133c problem

I accidentally loaded the unsupported 6.2 OS onto an RB133c board. I have spent all day trying to get back into the system, to down grade the OS to 5.25.

I have finally got NetInstall to see the boot from ethernet port, and am attempting to downgrade the OS to 5.25.

I chose the router and the 5.25 npk and clicked install. The Netinstall says it is transferring the package, and then it says “Install Failed, router not responding, timeout”.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the 5.25 npk to load onto the router?

Anyone?

Now that I have got it to boot from the Ethernet and that does not work, I can no longer get back into Winbox.

I have never got the serial communication to even hint at recognizing the board.

If no one can help, it is going out with the trash on Monday. I am getting sick of fighting it.

Ok, carrying on a conversation with myself here.

I was able to get into the bios configuration, format the NAND and set it to boot on ethernet.

It boots up, gets IP and says transferring package, waiting for install.

I go to net install and run the install, it starts formatting and transferring file.

It then prints out FATAL ERROR, Bad Network Connection on the serial terminal.

Not sure where to go from here.

I’m reading, just don’t know how to help … this is a holiday weekend in the States too.

RB133C is to weak for 5.25. We’ve them running with 5.6. This works but slow.
