Hi. I am new to Router OS and am having some issue.
I have 3 internet connections. 2 of those connections are cable modems with dynamic IP addresses, the third connection is provided via ethernet and is static ip. The third connection I would like used as only a backup connection (no traffic out), but I would still like to be able to use the connection to connect into my network remotely as a failsafe.
Any suggestions on where to start. I am currently using a loadbalancer but would like to eliminate that and just use the RouterOS.
The load balancer balances the connections by weight. Wan1 (first cable modem) which is fastest has a weight of 200, Wan2 (second cable modem) which is half the speed of wan1 has a weight of 150 and the backup connection which is extremely slow has a weight of 1
Im using the 750G with has 5 ports.
I tried using PCC but that did not work and I needed to reset my board to defaults.
Is this configuration possible and if so could someone please lend some advice
