Issue with SFP+ Modules and Link Connectivity between MikroTik CRS354 Switches

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with two MikroTik switches (PoE+ Switch CRS354-48P-4S+2Q+RM) connected using SFP+ modules (Ubiquiti, OM-SM-10G-D). The modules are correctly recognized by the switches, as shown in the attached screenshots.

I’ve tried various configurations including auto-negotiation, as well as disabling auto-negotiation with rate select set to low, 10Gbps or 1Gbps, and duplex mode set to on/off. However, despite these attempts, I’m still unable to establish a link between the switches.

I’m using a duplex singlemode patch cable for the connection. I’m puzzled as to why the link is not working.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

You have -40 dB on RX power which probably means no signal because a good fiber should not be below -11. Either the other end is not transmitting for some reason or fiber is bad.
