Issue with simple queues

hi all ,
this is my first review ever on this forum and i decided to post after looking everywhere for a fix for my issue …

the issue i am facing in my network is with simple queue as we are a WISP with more than 300 clients and we have implemented a solution with two mikrotik CCR1036-12G-4S first serve as PPPoe server and the other as firewall and Bandwidth manager

the Issue i am facing is that some traffic from users are bypassing the simple queue and eating up my bandwidth and it is not constant but it happens most of the time also the download traffic that is showing on the simple queue is very different from the PPPoe interface of the user for example one user is showing 1GB in his simple queue download but showing 27.1GB on his pppoe interface Tx and showing 3GB in his router that acts as pppoe client however , the odd thing is that the upload readings are correct and the same in everywhere (simple queue , pppoe interface , pppoe client )

note that:
1- all users have static pppoe interface
2- both mikrotik routers are on v6.19

hope someone is having some explanation for this ? and i hope that this isn’t a bug that we need to wait for long time to get fixed…

10 days no with no single reply !!!

You could try marking your packets under firewall and using that for the que and dropping other packets in the forward chain. This way only marked packets would get through. It could cause some internet applications to fail if routerOS fails to mark the packet.

I feel you, even my questions arent replied to. I’ve resorted to basic networking logic and mess to get things done.
