Issues on CCR1072 and SFP modules

Hi all!
I’m experiencing some problems when I connect a CRS106-1C-5S or a to four different CCR1072-1G-8S+ using two S-31DLC20D modules.
The problem I’m facing is that layer1 link goes up (I see good signal in TX and RX on both modules) but layer2 don’t.
CCR1072 side I see the “R” flag on the interface table, but CRS side I don’t.

I’ve got the same problem with CCR1072 and CCR1016-12S-1S+, both connecting CCR1016 side to the SFP+ or one or more SFP slot.

The workaround is to disable and re-enable the interface CCR1072 side (by software).

All devices have 6.42.5 ROS version.

I’m not facing the same issue with links between two CCR-1072, using both SFP+ DAC and S+31DLC10D interfaces.

In brief and basing on my experience, it seems that using gigabit transceiver in SFP+ slot on CCR family cause this kind of issues.

Could you please help?

Thank you,
Beppe

Try to disable auto-negotiation on sfp interfaces and set it manually to 1Gbit
