Were finally putting in ipv6, but we have issues with our upstreams since they provide smaller networks for the links than /64.
In mikrotik it says unreachable and we cant ping them. If we use the link local fe80 then it works and also the links carry ipv4 without any problem. Its a CCR1036-12G-4S-EM and all upstreams are on SFP ports.
we have not seen problems with different ipv6 addresses unless you are using /127 that was initially barred from use as did not provide anything useful, only wasted addresses (not a huge issue using ipv6 address space) and opened some attack vectors for attackers (that is still huge problem when /127 i sin use)
Also, if you want to advertise ipv6 addresses, you will be required to have /64 as that is set in RFC as minimal for end user hosts.
I myself am using /128 extensively without any issues.
