I have three bonded interfaces on my RB1100DX4 and am having an issue with two of my bonded links.
The bonds are ether7-8. 9-10 and 11-12.
Ether7-8 and 9-10 are in the same bridge group and 11-12 are in a different group.
My LAN bridge setup is ports 6, 7-8, 9-10 where I have a server plugged into port 6. All of my bonds run 802.3ad. 7-8 and 9-10 are connected to separate switches. My problem is that broadcast traffic is not going between the two bonded pairs in the bridge. Both switches can access the server, but devices on those switches can’t talk to each other. It’s as if broadcast packets cannot move between the two bonded pairs. Could this be due to the fact that they’re on the same switch (switch 2)? If I remove one of the cables on one of the switches then everything works. I am running 6.46.2.
Is this supported?
