We just bought a pair of SextantG antennas to make a PtP link, to make the setup I used the Quick setup funcion of those antennas firmware (6.18), also on 6.19 and 6.20.
The issue is that the same configuration has different results depending on the wireless protocol.
- 802.11 - easy connection, I can ping the other extreme antenna and connect a pc, no issues
- nestreme - easy connection, I can ping the other extreme antenna and connect a pc, no issues
- nv2 - easy connection, but I can’t ping the remote, neither with ping nor mac ping, link unusable
Is that I am doing something wrong or some issues with the firmware? I tried the same config on 6.18,6.19 and 6,20. On 6.20 I had CPU issues due to having all the packages enabled.
