Hi I was running 6.44.3 on a RB751-2HnD. It is sat behind a Zyxel ADSL modem setup in bridge mode with PPPoE passthrough.
Since a recent upgrade the WAN side is only ever connecting using DHCP and is being assigned an LAN adddress (I have removed the DHCP client settings but they still seem to happen. On the quick setup page the boxes in the top right corner (sorry am not in front of it!) indicate the WAN connection is Auto and, however often I change it to PPPoE it reverts back to Auto. As soon as I change it to Auto I get a connection. With it in Auto I don’t - I assume as I am not assigning a default route or similar (and I dont’ want the WAN connection with a Private IP anyway).
How can I stop this behaviour?
