Issues with Username/Password for Dude & Userman - 3.0rc2

Using RouterOS packages…

On the login screen for the dude, no matter what username or password I enter, it just “spins”. It never even says the username/password is incorrect. I have tried admin/no password and also my username/password for winbox.

On the login screen for User Manager, I do get “invalid user name or password”, but I still can’t figure out the correct username/password. Again, I have tried admin/no password and also my username/password for winbox.

Is is a bug, or am I missing something???

  1. User Manager user/password information is configured at ‘tool user-manager customer’.

  2. There is not configuration available for Dude at RouterOS, you have to
    install ‘dude’ package to the router, then use Dude client on one of the
    workstation. Connect to remote server specify RouterOS address as server
    address, all the configuration is done on the client-side for the Dude server (like add new user, etc.).
