i have a wierd problem and was hoping it could maybe be solved with a Mikrotik router. So one of our clients need to access local network resources, specifficaly a local server via RDP, but also needs to connect to a secure VPN to be able to use another application because, dependant on the “work order” they aither need to use the local server or the app that requires a VPN connection. If they connect to the VPN the app works but as soon as they remote into the local server to work on another order, the app stopps working and required a recconnect to the VPN which takes a good bit of time and it gets very frustrating when they have a lot of work and people are waiting while they connect and reconnect when they need to work. So far we have placed another PC on the other side of the room that they only use to connect to the local server and the original PC to connect to the VPN and access the app.
For security concerns, there is stuff that i cant provide but I will try to answer as many questions as i can to hopefully find a solution. Currently Im just hopping that it can be solved with a mikrotik.
