Just Can't Get PPTP server to work Help!!

I have been tryin to get pptp working with a w2kserver for 3 days!!
can anyone spot what I have done wrong?
Terminal vt102 detected, using multiline input mode

PPTP is’nt working with me since version 2.8.13.
The same settings on 2.8.4 work just fine.
And as far as i recall 2.8.12 used to work fine.

We need a quick fix for that.

The error message is 734 in XP.

ppptp is working as expected for us (2.8.13 and 2.8.15).

maybe a trace will help: http://www.modemsite.com/56k/ppp.asp

there is also an issue with some clients concerning microsofts encryption method but it will be as error message in the trace file too.

i would try establishing a simple pptp connection without using profiles and adding profiles and pools later.

(btw: macos x ppp-client shows a quite good log)
