Is it normal ? (I doubt)
Thanks for telling me how to take care of the problem
EDIT: This is really annoying…

3.2 is old! please install 3.22!
And what DNS servers do you use? and do they work?
plus can you ping something like google.com from the router?
And last can you ping the IP of google.com (resolv it from an other machine).
I think you misunderstood me, I’m talking about The Dude 3.2, not anything else. It’s just been released…so I cannot think it’s old.
My DNS servers are Windows 2003 and it was perfectly working before I upgraded my The Dude 3.1 to 3.2 less than an hour ago
And of course, my DNS servers work… It’s my main DNS servers working for all my servers and workstations.
I just installed 3.2 and the same happened. I’ve also lost all my device labels. Disk and CPU services are all down too - on Mikrotik devices.
OK, I’m not alone…
Going back to 3.1 until someone tells me it’s solved
Just upgraded to 3.2, when editing a device the DNS name is empty if you put the DNS name back in it is empty again when you go look.
New bug - this is on a windows server.
Had the same problem, the DNS name stays empty… on Windows Server
don’t drink and help
I did just try to edit the Name value of a new device and now the Dude client crashes (uses all of CPU)… also it did not resolv DNS…
Ditto here. This is a MAJOR issue for me because over 1/2 of the devices I monitor are using a DYNDNS address, as soon as they get a new IP, I"ve lost them in this version of the Dude. If a patch doesn’t come out in the next day or two, I’m back to 3.1.
and I was just shouting Hurrah about the PROBE bug being fixed too. ![]()
Does anyone from the support have an answer on when this problem will be solved ?
Thanks
we have fixed this, please wait for next version
have you also fixed the missing CC from email notifications?
yes, also fixed
