Hi Max ;

why your site only in spanish ?
with best regards .

Because he´s from Argentina (like me :wink:)

Here is a guide that i used to reinstall the RouterOS on two Rb192’s and one RB133…
If you follow the steps correctly you won´t fail.

Good Luck, Victor.

Hi all ;
I am glad to write again . :smiley:
Many Thanks for the file mentioned in the link above , but i think it not really necessary and it describe the process for the Router Board only and there is no think about the dedicated PC .
i say it is not necessary because you could connect the Router Board to your PC and provide it with power ether through the main cord or the POE and use the winbox to configure it .
and for dedicated PC when you install only the Router OS on it and configure it also through the winbox .
is there anything more this program do better than the Winbox ?
and how to make the PC to bootup from the network ? , this not mentioned in the file .
Max , you could make your web site with English as well and let us read what you have on the site .
will be waiting your feedback eagerly .
with best regards .

Netinstall is used to install the RouteOS in a dedicated pc o routerboard, not to configure it.
Obviously if you have a dedicated pc you can instlall it via cdrom, but if you have no cd drive, you can use netinstall…
To boot a pc from the network, just set up the bios settings…:smiley:

Hi ;
Thanks for your reply .
I was asking if there is a specific settings should be done in the BIOS of the PC .
with best regards .
:slight_smile:

It depends in the mother and bios, but you can configure to boot from HDD, Floppy, Cdrom, Network, etc…You ust choose Network and it should work fine..
