I was going to do some trials today of Mikrotik. When I use the 24 hour trial, I was wondering if later I decided to upgrade it to a full license, would the settings I was working with in the trial stay?
if you enter the key before the 24h time ends, then yes. but after the 24h limit is reached, the software drops all settings and you will have to reinstall.
but you can always make an export file, and then simply import all settings in your licensed system. command /export file=name and /import file=name
