Kid Control - Device holding multiple IPs

Hi All,

We have Kid Control set up to limit a staff member’s smartphone usage during work hours. There is a user (kid) profile set up to block network traffic during working hours that we have applied to his smartphone. This has been running for several weeks now without any issues, however the other day I noticed the Kid-Controlled device somehow had 4 different IP addresses listed under Kid Control, and in turn a firewall rule for each of these to block traffic to that IP. This stopped a newly connected device from using the internet as it was unfortunate enough to be issued one of the 4 addresses.

No record of the additional IP addresses were in DHCP or the ARP table… just Kid Control. I was able to clear the IP addresses by disabling and re-enabling the Kid/user profile but am stumped as to how or why it happened.

We have Kid Control setup on other routers and have never had this issue. Has anyone else come across this before or has any insight into why/how this can happen?
