Could anyone post suggestions on how to make kid control act seamlessly across days?
My son is 16 and I do not want him on the internet all night, but he is good and makes good grades, so I do not want to be too hard on him.
I am trying to set kid control for 8am on friday until 2am on saturday. How can accomplish this?
You have to think in days. In your case on friday from 8:00:00 till 23:59:59 an don saturday from 0:00:00 till 2:00:00.
You can set the unlimited rate to the entire day and add the hours were the rate limit is not set.
I didn’t block Internet entirely, instead introduced rate limit (of 64k). This way, Internet works but is too slow for normal use.
Unfortunately, in the LTS (6.45.9) this is not working correct (it will block instead of using queues for rate limit). Better pick a stable version like 6.46.6.
