KNOT, GPIOs and expansion board

I a looking for a device supporting ethernet, two wifi SSIDs, VLANs, one digital input and one digital output. The basic model of the KNOT seems to be a good candidate. I have a few questions:

  1. Does the base model support GPIOs? The documentation shows it for the LORA version, but does not make it explicit.
  2. Do I have to break to cut the case or is it already prepared for expossing the pins?
  3. I need an expansion board rupporing one relay and on N.O. input that sometimes it may close, therefore I basically need I pull up resistor so that the kont sees iether VCC when the swith s open or GND when it is closed. Do you know if there’s something available for purchase online?

Thank you,

Ottavio

Hi, I have the Lora version of the KNOT.

  1. As far as I have understood, both versions are the same, except the Lora version has a mini-PCI car mounted. So I would expect both to have GPIO.
  2. The GPIOs are not accessible on the Lora version without modifying the case. The area is however punched from the back, so it should be easy to open up the case.
  3. I don’t know.
