Hi
Is any else have a problem with RouterOS v5.9.
I try and create a routeros image and the router always comes back and says failed to copy to router
[admin@MikroTik] > /kvm make-routeros-image file-name=“RouterOS.img” file-size=1000
failed to copy files to image
I am running this on an X86 PC

somehow it worked on my box, need more details. What packages installed, how much free resources, what disk, where connected, is virtualization supported on the host.
Hi.
When I tried before I hadn’t applied the License key. Once I applied it I was able to create the image. I don’t know if its related or just coincidence.
its working now. There was more than enough HDD space, and resources where fine (this is brand new and almost no config on atm)
Thanks

that is license limitation - you cannot create virtual devices you do not have the license key applied.
it seems i’m still having this issue.
