We have a base mikrotik x86 system with KVM package that is running on 32 core cisco ucs server.
On this system we run 13 virtual servers as core nat routers and shapers each for 300-400 customers.
Everything worked fine but after an upgrade from 5.8 to 6.42.7 the cpu usage of base syster changed from 38% to 70-80% and whole platform got very unstable. We upgraded the base system and the virtuals too to 6.42.7.
What do you prefer to use?
Downgrade? But what about mk malware…?
Chamge x86 to Rb platform to run virtuals?
