I have a working LAN, and I try to upgrade with an L009uigs-rm router, it is working with default settings, but I dont like to have another DHCP server in my network, and I dont like to have a NAT. I would like to use my default DHCP and my default fix addresses in my network, but I couldnt figure out how?.
I’m trying to disable DHCP, but the connected devices are remain in the default .88. domain.
If I turn the NAT off, the router becomes completely inaccessible from both my internal network and my original external network. The router has an IP address from my network.
How can I turn this router to use my default routers DHCP addresses?
Trying is in the game… I was thinking about, what if I put the DHCP router to the ETH2? Miracle! the DHCP is working! So I have the “internet” port disabled, and the ETH1 port put to bridge mode. Now the DHCP works well, but, I cannot connect to the router.
Neither with winbox nor with the web interface Even though the little one has an IP address, it doesn’t respond back through it. (connection timed out)
The molecule is evolving, but I haven’t been able to find a working match between SOHO models and this semi-professional stuff… yet. update1:
Okay, the router found with its MAC adress, after it, I have to put the Local address to that adress what my DHCP gives to it, now I can acces to the router. Really annyoing!
