After Arm64 upgrade system stop rebooting from winbox(4.1). Current firmware 7.22.1
only power reset helps. After reboot from winbox router is shutting down .
Have you tried netinstall?
There is a very specific sequence to be followed when moving to ARM64 for that device.
Did you follow it precisely ?
- routerboot - allow installing ARM64 on L009 device ("/system routerboard upgrade" required; configure "/system/routerboard/settings set preferred-architecture=arm64 boot-device=try-ethernet-once-then-nand"; start Netinstall with ARM64 image and reboot the device (DO NOT load the backup routerboot with reset button); downgrading to older versions must be avoided);
system is working property after upgrade. it just not reboot from winbox. only power on/off helps reboot it
I would try to netinstall anyway.
for what ? i used netinstall to upgrade to arm64.. upgrade is DONE! now architecture is ARM64. everything is ok except reboot process.
FWIW I also have that device (and probably I was among the first ones to upgrade it to ARM64 when it became possible) but I do not see that problem ??
Just for fun I did a reboot from Winbox 4.1, works perfectly as it should.
what fw you use currently? after upgrade to arm64 with 7.22 I install 7.23rc1 and downgrade to 7.22 because of unstable behavior. may be this affect reboot process
So why not to netinstall again to have clean situation? Additionally eport config, import it back and do check the results.
For now it still runs 7.22.
I have been pretty busy lately with work and other stuff so did not have the change yet to upgrade that device to later versions (which is part of my lab setup) to latest beta/rc.
As suggested by BartoszP, try the netinstall approach again.
Fixed after 7.22.2 upgrade
