L2 bond+encryption and VLAN on top

Hello,

I’m experiencing difficulty in changing the network between our office and the data center.

We have:

  • two separate L2 links from two different providers, connecting our office to the data center.

  • a bandwidth of 100 Mbps for each L2 link.

  • two routers on both sides (office and data center), model CCR2004.

Our goals are:

  • encrypt traffic between office and data center

  • combine the bandwidth (i.e. a total of 200 Mbps)

  • carry multiple VLANs over the route

My question is as follows:
Is there a way to achieve this correctly or will we have to give up on some things, like combining the bandwidth?

Hello,

I’m still seeking assistance with our network configuration challenge, and I appreciate any insights from the community.

To provide more context, I’m considering the following approach:

  • Implement EoIP on each L2 link independently.

  • Bond these two EoIP tunnels to effectively combine the bandwidth.

  • Add multiple VLANs on top of the bonded connection.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback or recommendations regarding the feasibility of this approach or alternative solutions.

Thank you!
