Is there a way to do a L2 tunnel with 1500 MTU? We have a L2TP tunnel bridged to an interface so we’re getting L2 traffic across the link just fine, but the end user is plugging in a device that seems to add overhead and demands a 1500 MTU as opposed to the 1450 MTU that we’re providing. One of the sides has a dynamic IP, so EOIP doesn’t seem to be an option. Is there a way to deliver 1500 MTU in a L2 tunnel over the internet?
