Hi at all,
I have set up a 25 km ptp link with two L23 devices and two 60 cm dual pol parabolic antennas, the link is stable, with a troughput of 180- 190 Mbps in both directions, signal is around -80 db in rx, but there isn't way to measure the single chain rx signal. In first installation I have a trouble with one polarity because one connector there are faulty and I solved only after I unplugged the cable and noticed that the signal disappeared completely.
I am very satisfied with the performance of this routerboard, especially the receiver part, I would be completely satisfied if there was a product with a few more db on the tx, I also noticed that the power tends to drop above 5800 mhz (or the receiver loses performance).
There are a way to implement measure of single chain or is a limitation of the driver?
This also allows you to optimize the separation between the two chains and obtain less interference between the two chains (by rotating the feeder). I would like to see an upgrade in this regard regarding the wireless part because I notice that the competitors are more careful in this direction.
Best Regards
Nicola
