I have a “problem” with a Raspberry pi with l2tpd and pptpd installed.. They (tunnels) don’t work every time I want… I mean, PPTP display connection etablished but not connected… I can let it do this ride forever and after un certain time, it work.. Got IP address from PI and everything fine, until it crash after 2-3 hours.
For th l2tp always with l2tpd on the PI, same preshared key, good username/pwd.. it go on “the packet is retransmitted by 173.176.238.xxx[500].” It can do that for 1-2 hours.. all of sudden, it plug fine and it’s more solid that pptp. (xxx for private, the mikrotik client display server side ip correctly)
Any hints?
