I need help with configuring l2tp client on mikrotik rb2011UiAS (v6.38). I am trying to establish connection to Windows Server 2012R2 VPN server. I created PPP L2TP-client interface, entered vpn ip address, username and password and pre-shared key in ip-sec section.
It does not connect but ipsec part is trying. I see how ipsec poliy and peers creating. On IP sec policies page I see that PH2 State is only “msg1 sent”. It stays with this status and then it deleted.
In log I see only simple messages – connecting, terminating, disconnected.
On windows client it works fine.
I cant find any information for my case. Maybe it works by default
